We're slowly approaching the half-way mark. It still feels like I've just started. I don't think anything I've ever done before has improved my playing as much as this quest as until now. Thoughts and ideas appreciated.

Years ago, before I had my recording studio, I learned and performed all of the Beethoven Sonatas. I felt exactly the same way. It took me many years and some were more successful than others, but what the project did to my playing was worth all of the effort. Keep up with this project, you will be so glad you did.

Holy crap. That has to be the single most daunting collection of works to learn. It's a whole other level from my point of view.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing about your project.

They're both quite titanic complete sets to learn, for different reasons!

OP, good on you to persist with these. They'll stay with you the rest of your life.

Thx. It does get tiring sometimes. I think perhaps the problem with sets like these the main problem is they can make you feel inadequate. "Mastering" them is like chasing a rainbow. You gotta love the journey itself because most likely it'll never end. Especially the Beethoven sonatas.
