First of all, merry christmas everyone.

I have recently become aware of this extraordinary pianist, Ekaterina Derzhavina. I am absolutely blown away. I did a seacrh on her name in the forum and couldn't find any results, so barring my poor searching skills, maybe this will be enjoyed by some.

French ouverture

Haydn sonatas

Early 20th century russian recital

The last one includes Catoire, Scriabin, Prokofiev, Medtner, and the incredible Stanchinsky, a somewhat unknown russian genius.

This is some top pianism in my opinion. There are a lot of great pianists that you keep finding out about, but i have to say Derzhavina has truly impressed me like very few pianists, dead or alive have.
