It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
Few thoughts: 1) This is an intimate but vibrant "chamber" approach in my opinion. I enjoyed. 2) I enjoyed despite the fact that I think that this is an absolutely overrated work by a master, and too often performed and recorded out of a sense of obligation. 3) I know many people "hate" Andeeva. But she is a phenomenal talent. People will eventually get over that silly Chopin competition thing and come 'round, whether it's months or decades from now.

Do many people think the F-min concerto is overrated? I know it is not technically difficult like the Rachmaninoff concertos but I think there is much beauty in this piece and if pianists could only be appreciated when they play the hardest pieces, we would eliminate much of Mozart, Bach, Mendelssohn, and so on. (Even the Schumann for that matter.) I am thrilled that Chopin wrote two concertos that I could work on with the hope that I might eventually be able to play them even though I will never play the tougher ones.

Not me, I think it magnificent, one of the most glorious of all piano concertos.

Why would you say that? The middle movement is -IMO- far more difficult than anything in Rachmaninov, and certainly a lot deeper.
Chopin at 19 rivaled Mozart. Mendelssohn may have beaten him to the punch with the Octet (written when he was 16), but Chopin more than made up for it. I don't think there is any contest.
IMO, both Chopin concerti are much harder than Rachmaninoff's 2nd concerto (I can offer that opinion, having played the Rachmaninoff, and read through the Chopin).

I don't know about the 1st Chopin concerto, but I think you could make a case for the 2nd being harder than Rach2. Rachmaninoff has a lot of notes, but it falls under the fingers quite easily once you learn the notes, in my experience. Well maybe not easily, but as a technically insecure piano student I could execute the difficult looking stuff in Rachmaninoff very reliably after some practice, and it struck me as odd that I could play it as reliably as I did.
