Can anyone tell me the build date? I am told 1914, but I don't know. It's a Baldwin 5'6" natural walnut grand. Looking for a friend.

If it is a true Baldwin grand, it would be 1978. If it is one of their other lines, it depends on which line it is. A 1978 piano will definitely not look like a 1914 piano, and that should be obvious to just about everyone.

I believe it will be - he says ivories. It's probably a Howard from that era.

If my reading of the Pierce Piano Atlas is correct, the piano is from 1913-1914.
