Please forgive the shaky video, I'd just finished my third cup of strong black coffee :-)

This is a short video showing the simple decorations in my house, and my little Christmas Tree.

Let's see some pictures of your Christmas Tree, and/or your decorations.

This photo is from the first night, where only 1 candle plus the "shamash" was lit.

Here it is from tonight, the 5th night

Tonight, the candles are lit after Havdalah, marking the end of shabbos.

I understand Hanukkah started on Dec. 20th of the secular calendar this year.

It would be interesting to see how this time of year is celebrated around the world, considering we get visitors from 227 countries.

This actually isn't from this year but the tree looks the same. As a rule I usually decorate the same.

Here's ours... for the past three years we've gone to a little Christmas tree farm at the edge of town and cut our own tree. Our decorating theme is best described as "eclectic," if "eclectic" means "everything from ornaments made by my kids in preschool to ornaments handed down from grandparents, not to mention a starbucks coffee cup ornament and piano ornament." laugh

If you look closely you'll see that one of the strings of light has gone dead already, but I wasn't about to take everything off and replace it!

I loved it, Norbert!

That is the closest to any boogie-woogie/blues I've heard you play, and I was impressed!! laugh

Happy Holidays!
