Hello, Can anyone tell me what year/model this Yamaha piano is? The serial number is B2483733. Also, anyone know its worth? Thanks!

Manufactured late 1977 in Hamamatsu, Japan.

I think it is a model P2B. It's value completely depends on it's mechanical and physical condition. It looks cared for. Are you looking to buy or sell?

Is it a P2? Maybe an M1A, but it looks too tall. I'm guessing a P2.

As for value, google Yamaha P2 for sale and Yamaha M1A for sale and see what you find. Here's a thread about P2 prices from earlier this year:

What are they asking?

True, the M1A's are similar, but, as Sam mentioned, it looks more like a P2. One giveaway is the hinged lip on the fall board, plus most M1A's of that year had a serial# that started with the letter C.

Actually M1(s)of that era had a grand style lid. No hindge on the top left hand side so...P2 it is. I like those furniture couch casters. Classy! grin

Hey pianobroker, I agree, those casters would have to go. Can I swap them out with something else; or just leave them off?
