Now, I cannot guarantee anything from a picture or two but it appears that this is way more piano than $2890.00. My advice is to give them a deposit and have a fantastic technician in the area examine it for you.

Looks good. But player piano? It might have been playing 24/7 since it was in the shop Better have it checked well

If this is being offered by an individual as opposed to a dealer..it most likely is a scam.

Basically, when something is too good to be true, it usually isn't true. However, I paid $1900 for my Mason & Hamlin AA but it had not been rebuilt & refinished so it was probably all it was worth.

I guarantee it, this is a scam. I've seen far too many of these and I've sent them emails. They almost always respond saying that they're out of town or out of the country and would like to ship the piano to you, free of cost, but only after you pay for the piano. You are then asked to wire the money to their account.. They usually talk about ebay acting as an intermediary which would not release your money to the seller until you get your piano. That is most definitely false too, you can confirm by asking ebay about it yourself. Flag these ads. I'm sure these ads keep coming up only because people succumb to them. So do what you can by flagging them.
