I was thinking about practice log web application and I have already created one until I noticed this thread.

If you guys are interested I can publish it and you can start using it. it features a log where you log your practice time and information about what you have practiced.

It also features fully automated TOP 20 list.

Just let me know if you're interested and I'll start working on publishing it.

That's very kind of you.
I personally have just started using the practice log available here (see the first post) - and I'm honestly not sure if I'm going to keep it up or not......Maybe others are interested in your version -if so I'm sure they'll reply. -

I really don't have capabilities to plan my practicing. I practice or play for fun whenever I have time for it. I have two daughters that take most of my free time laugh

Thanks for the heads up - I'm logging everything in a paper journal so I'll be able to track it later.

I'm assuming that people who are saying "count me in " these past couple of days have practiced on Jan 1, 2, and 3, unless specifically stated otherwise. This is the honour system after all smile

Hello everyone! The log still doesn't work for me (although I have tried all registration and log-in stuff). I found an application called actiTIME on internet, it's free to download just in case you are interested: http://www.brothersoft.com/actitime-34188.html

The funny thing is you need to tailor it a bit. It was designed to include name of clients, jobs and tasks - I then used them for name of composer, name of the piece... It's quite fun when e.g. Bizet is your client blush

Of course smile. However I travel for work, does using note trainers and mini piano's on my Iphone count or do I have to go to the excused list? smile. I leave for Denver tomorrow night and won't be able to touch a real piano until Sat. morning. But I plan to bring books with to work on sight reading and theory, and I have some notetrainer apps, etc. on my phone. I'm assuming though that by the first post you have to physically touch a piano smile

Thanks to whoever updated the date feature in the database. I was able to log in today and log all my practice times.

What are note trainers?
I would say you have to touch a keyboard - dp, portable, mini keyboard or acoustic. I don't "think" that the iphone could be like playing a keyboard ...or am I wrong?

There is no shame in going to the excused list - I was on it a few times myself last year - hey we can't always stay at home every day!
Maybe your hotel will have a piano!

Let us know when you come back - I found last year that with the headphones option I was able to play a bit, even before catching early flights, on on getting home late - that cut down on the number of missed days.
