Hello everyone,

I just revisited this piece and I've decided to learn it seriously. Though it's a 'cliche' classical piece I think it's really wonderful. Who is your favourite interpreter?

I really like Ivo Pogorelich's version, nice a slow; not rushed...

I like this pianist's version(please ignore the silly picture on Youtube):

I never realized how terrific this piece was until I heard that performance.

Hmmm...my favorite interpretation of Fur Elise is my own. Probably because I don't like to listen to recordings that much because I'm afraid I will make myself sick of it, or because I'm afraid I will hear a bad recording.

My favorite was Valentina's.

Valentina Lisitsa's "Fur Elise"

But, Pianoloverus, it sounds so much like Urgorski's that you posted! I love them both!! grin

Pianoworld poster hv's wife, Sue Keller, has a version played on a Steingraeber.

It's quite different from those posted above, I'm sure you'll never forget it.
