I went back to my favorite store to play again the Privia PX 830, and the more I play it the more I think that Casio has a winner, especially considered the price (under $ 1000).
I own a Yamaha YDP 223 that I like but the quality of piano sounds of the PX 830 is better, more expressive and more realistic. The general quality of the Privia is good although it doesn't match the Yamaha, but I have no reason to believe that the Casio dp will not last long.
What I really liked, together with the sound, are the looks, the key action and weight, and the quality of the 20 + 20 W speakers.
Again, I compared it in the store with other console dps, as the Casio Celviano 420 and the more expensive Roland rp 101, and I prefer the 830.
The only thing that I did not like is the fact that the keys slightly move from side to side, however they do it less than other Casio dps, as the portable Privias.

Under $1000!? It's nearly £1100 here, around $1800! That's only a little cheaper than a P155, I think Casio need to rethink their European pricing!

Edit: seems some places are selling it for much less than the first few I looked at, Amazon.co.uk have it for £764 about $1259.

Yeah here in the Uk you have to look around to get a good deal. It Sucks......:(

Organstudio.co.uk do it for £719. There the cheapest for all casio models i've seen on the web, It's good as there only 5 mins from my house.
