The Tenth Piano Composition Competition Fidelio Online has just opened the registration period.

This year it brings something new to celebrate the 10th anniversary.

Entering this competition is very simple, all you have to do is to record your own piano solo composition or improvisation and send the audio mp3 file vía email to the competition. You don't need to send the score, only the recording audio file.

In this competition you are competitor and judge at the same time, that is, you choose the winner by voting at home for the best works. All the voting results are sent to you via email so that you can check both the votes given and received.

The composition submitted cannot last more than four minutes. Only participants vote to choose the winner.

NEW THIS YEAR:

For the first time, the competition is divided into three styles or categories, which means that works will compete within the same category. Example: if you submitt a jazz piano piece, you will vote in groups containing only jazz piano works.

These are the three categories:

1. Jazz piano solo,
2. Atonal contemporary piano solo
3. Tonal melodic piano solo (any style)

Indicate the one you apply to when sending your work or works.

Prizes: 1500 euros divided into the three categories. Registration: 12 euros per composition submitted. The Maximum allowed are five compositions in each category.

No matter how far you are because this is through Internet. In previous competitions there have been participation from 47 countries.

Deadline for submissions: November the 30th 2019
