I am writing this for archival purpose, since the forum has a memory like an elephant. If it happened to me, it could happen to other people.

I've got recently Privia PX-860 and playing it vigorously since I've got it. From time to time when I was playing, suddenly the piano sound would abruptly stop and instead I would hear an electric buzz sound. This would appear randomly, about once a day, but I couldn't repeat it when I wanted. I've noticed however it appeared when I played Bb chord.

I even contacted casio and they responded quickly, suggested reset and if no help gave me contact to repair center.

However yesterday the mystery was solved! And it was me.

It is the way I play Bb chord with my lefty, with middle finger not holding any key but straight extended. Not sure if you noticed but the Casio Privia keys are about 1/4 inch shorter than other keyboards (notably my Roland FA08) and hold and behold - when playing Bb my middle finger would point directly at the metronome button. When playing vigorously, I would occasionally press that button without even feeling it! With my pinky and thumb playing two Bb keys at the same time, this was a signal to set metronome tempo, but with wrong keys and the buzz is an "error" beep the keyboard was telling me that I am doing something stupid.

So here, the mystery of my CASIO buzz is solved! I am so relieved I figured it out!

Heh, that is a pretty humorous user error (or design flaw)! Glad you got it figured out.

Personally, I like it when DPs have a slightly higher/more substantial fallboard. I've always thought it would be too easy to accidentally hit a low top-row key.

I've seriously thought it is an issue with the electronics! I was already thinking of packing it and bring it back to costco and order second one, honestly.

I had something similar happen a few months back.
