Hello!

I'm about to buy a digital piano, and I think the yamaha p90 is a very good one.

The only problem is that many users (in newsgroups and forums) complain about the presence of a background metallic noise (I think in grandpiano 1) which should be particularly audible when playing single notes and in the higher octaves.

According to what I read the noise is feeble but very annoying once it has caught the player's attention.

I would like to know from p90 owners if this is true, or just a myth.

Other comments about this piano, for example about the quality of the action and of the sound banks, are welcome.

Thank you

I don't have enough experience with the P90 to comment. I will note, though, that the samples are from Yamaha grands, which do exhibit ringing due to their plate designs.
