Full sized keys? Kurzweil midiboard and Kustom 88 - 10/15/10 08:01 PM
I have an opportunity to buy either a Kurzweil midiboard 1986 version
or a Kustom 88. I am able to add midi to it myself.
I asked the sellers to measure the keys, and it seems that both models are just a bit shy of having full size keys.
White keys are 5 5/8 instead of 5 7/8.
I told them to measure from the tip of the key to the tip of the felt. Could this have been my mistake, or are the keys actually a little smaller than standard.
I have a Kurzweil K250 keyset, and they are definitely not full size. I'm wondering if Kurzweil stuck with this same keyset in the midiboard.
Can anyone tell me if either or both of these units have or do not have standard full size piano keys.
