This is a wonderful harp/piano nocturne by Glinka. Trying to perfect the jumping left hand passage (starting from 1:38) took me countless retakes and in the end there were still some minor errors, but overall I'm pretty satisfied. Enjoy!

It's quite a lovely (unknown) piece; you play it very well. I am particularly aware of good pedal technique in this performance. A piece in this style could, in the wrong hands, become quite awash in blurred overlaps of tone, but you nicely avoided that without the results sounding dry.

Very nice, indeed!

Thank you for sharing.

Hi there, PikaPianist! Well, I did indeed enjoy -- Glinka is kind of a predecessor to the Russian Romantics in the late 19th century -- like them, he loves melody and opera, and I thought you brought a nice sense of that operatic quality to the piece. Everything nicely phrased and presented. Thanks for sharing this!
