Schubert/Greg Anderson - Der Erlkönig (4 hands) - 02/11/13 01:31 AM

Hi to everyone!! As i've said in my last piano duet post, I was going to post some interesting things on my duet channel. So, today I'd like to show you "Der Erlkönig"

It's a piece composed by Schuber and based on a text from Goethe inspired on a german legend. It's a very dark composition (because the legend was very sinister) But very powerful  :)

I hope you like it! laugh

Interesting arrangement (by Greg Anderson) - and it appears to be a logistical nightmare to play !!! Looks like you were both having fun !!! Thanks for sharing !!

Yes, haha!! It's a little be of both sensations. On the one hand it's a nightmare to play (it has very intricate hands positions) but on the other hand it's a very powerful piece, and we really love to play it!! laugh

Thanks for commenting to you both!! smile
