Best Pianists of the 21st Century? - 02/25/19 04:27 AM

So, I was wondering if it ever came down to making a list of the best pianists of the 21st century, who all would get featured in that list? My personal favourites are Sviatoslav Richter, Martha Argerich and Glenn Gould (not necessarily in the same order).

Who do you guys reckon are truly the best modern pianists that deserve a mention? Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Do you mean 20th Century, since two of three pianists you listed lived and died in the last century?

21st century? If I had to pick one, I'd go with Hamelin. There is nothing that man can't do on a piano.

20th century...I could write a book.

21st century, you can't tell. The 21st century has only just begun, there's still 81 years to go and I am sure there are a lot of talents down the line that we do not know yet.
