Hey guys! I just joined the forums. Relearning piano at 42 after taking several years of lessons at around age 10...I am a real beginner, again.
I am curious if any of you have figured out the chords to the song: Falling Slowly or any other songs in the terrific movie called "Once". (It features the Academy Award winners for best song last year, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova.)
If you have not seen it I strongly recommend it!
Thanks in advance--I enjoy reading all your interesting comments~ Liz
Hiya Liz and welcome

I did a search of guitar tabs and came up with this...

I think that should help you. I play guitar also if you need anything else figured out from this.

I will say that it looks like there's a D note that's hit in both the C and F chords (2nd string, 3rd fret) which would make the actual changes Cadd2 and F6.
Thanks Gus! I do appreciate your help!

I was going to say if you have itunes subscribe to this guy (for free). I got this video a few days ago.

But he has a blog too so you can view or download the lesson from there. You'll need the sheet music though.

I didn't know what this song was until today because of this..I have heard it a million times though.

But the owner was on the radio (Today FM) today denying it. They haven't banned it, but put it in a top ten of songs they don't need to hear anytime soon. "Wonderwall" and "Sweet child of mine" were on the list.

There is a published piano arrangement of these songs too:

Once Sheet Music

You can also buy "Falling Slowly" separately.
