I'm in adult (34) with about one years experience with Piano.

Does anyone know anyone who teaches in Houston? Or do any of you? smile

I can help you out if you are interested in working on line. My site has a library of pre-recorded lessons on all facets of playing, chords & voicings, improv & licks, theory & composition and styles & arranging. You can expand on your self-paced study with live one-on-one webcam lessons. Please write with any questions.

I know that Rice University is in Houston. You might try contacting the music school administration for a recommendation. They might know who's who in the music community there.

Sorry I can't offer any specific help-- but have you considered asking pianists at jazz clubs in Houston?
