Recommend advanced jazz teacher near St Albans? - 08/13/19 09:11 PM

Hi, I am a self taught musician . My theory is good all my chord and scales are fluent. Although I know a few jazz standards that’s not really my focus. I am interested in self expression rather than genres. I consider myself to be on the lower rungs of an advanced player. I am not looking at classical.
It would be good to have a more advanced player take a look at my playing and maybe make a few observations, alternatively to meet other players of decent ability to exchange ideas with.

I live in St Albans if anyone is interested.

Hi ZeroZero,

You may want to post your query in the Pianist Corner - Non Classical subforum.

I'm not sure why you're asking here rather than in the Non-Classical Forum where you've already been posting.

Unless you're looking for purely technical advice, in which case you'll be able to find a qualified teacher from here:

But if you want a teacher who specialises in 'self-expression', good luck........
