Fiorentino transcriptions - 10/02/09 01:40 PM

As many of you may know, the great Italian pianist Sergio Fiorentino wrote a fairly large number of piano transcriptions. Some are actually much simpler than other pianists' transcriptions of the same works.

Below are some of his transcriptions available on Youtube.
I'm interested in PW member's opinions of these pieces as well as Fiorentino's performances.

Rachmaninov-Fiorentino Vocalise:

Faure-Fiorentino Apres un Reve:

Bach-Fiorentino Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring:

Bach-Busoni-Fiorentino Prelude and Fugue in D:

Fiorentino imprvovising(what's the opening song he plays?) on Someday My Prince Wlll Come, Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in e, Tchaikovsky and Brahms Violin Concerti, Long Ago and Far and Away, Liszt La Chasse etc.:

Many of theses scores are available on the net.
