wanted to share a funny article - 03/28/11 04:51 PM

Every Monday a little booklet with advertisments, jokes and funny articles is delivered to businesses in the small city where i reside. Today in "The weekly Bean" the "kids korner" article was titled "Childrens Answers in Music Education" Here are some of the things that the children had said.
- Refrain means don't do it, A refrain in music is the part you better not try to sing.
- a virtuoso is a musician with really high morals
-John Sebastian Bach died from 1750 to the present. (I'm not sure if John was a typo or what the kids really said lol)
- Beethocen wrote music even though he was deaf. He was so deaf he wrote loud music. He took long walks in the forest even when everyone was calling him. I guess he could not hear so good. Beethoven expired in 1827 and later died from this.

- Henry Purcell is a well known composer few people have ever heard of.
