Hi guys,

I'm experiencing a slight rubbing on the keys of my p105. It's nothing excessive, just every now and again a key will make a soft 'swush' sort of sound and rub gently against the key next to it. This changes the key action from being quite sharp to quite soft and is quite noticeable. If I turn the volume off and repeatedly press one of the keys in question, I can hear a soft contact sound.

Does this normally happen from time to time? It doesn't tend to be the same keys - it can happen to one key for an hour or so and then go away. One key has done it for a couple of days, but again it tends to correct itself. Something to do with swelling, perhaps?

The keyboard itself is fantastic - I think it's a wonderful piano.

Thanks.

Chessman,
The keys on your P-105 should not touch each other. It sounds like your piano is defective. You should consider exchanging it if your still within the exchange period or contact Yahama support.

Mine is a p155 and the keys are smooth. Don't think your p105 is functioning properly.
