You know, electronic Keyboards have many different instruments you can "play". Besides the Piano, which, if any, do you like to use when playing songs? My personal favorite is the Violin. How about you?

Coming from an acoustic piano background, and playing only classical music, I use only the "grand piano" voice in my Yamaha P80. In my opinion the "classic piano" is pointless - who would want to play an ordinary instrument over a grand piano? The strings I don't like. The only non-piano sound that I like is the organ. My daughter uses it to play Bach's Toccata.

Hey, I have a P80 as well. I use the grand about 90% of the time for practice and classical music. I like to use the harpsichord or harpsichord/piano blend for Bach. The pipe organ for the Tocatta and Fugue in Dmi is killer with the speaker cranked up. I also use the detuned rock piano for ragtime.

I have a Roland KR577. It has a really fun voice called Jazz Scat. Granted, I can't use it a lot, but it is really fun to play with. Depending on the velocity of the key strike, it will give one of five "jazz" syllables.
