Hello, I am new. Was hoping someone could help me out. I recently bought a Yamaha Clavinova cvp-83S for $100. When I bought it, sound would not come out through the speakers. I knew that going into it, but thought it may be relatively inexpensive to fix so I took a chance. After taking it to a local electronics repair guy, he said the power amp is blown. He may ir may not be able to get one, but he does suggest that I try to find the whole "Power Up" board first. I have called Yamaha & they have discontinued that board model. I was wandering if anyone on here knew of a place that might possibly have one? The model number is VD919900.
Thanks

Unless you are able to find another CVP-83S to use for spares, I doubt there's a great deal that can be done to bring this vintage Clavinova back to life.

Cheers,

It means "To The Top".
He wanted to bump his post to garner more attention.

If only there were an elephant graveyard equivalent for DP's.
