I'm looking for someone who owns a Technics PR53 or similar vintage piano, because I have had a baffling problem with mine, and the company and the technician I have consulted have been no help at all.

The problem is with polyphony. It is supposed to have 32-note polyphany, but when I play chords, one more more notes are likely to drop out, or not sustain the way they are supposed to. It's not one particular key, but certain combinations of keys are more likely to cause the dropouts.

I suspect a problem with the keyboard itself, but it's possible that the software is just junk, so I would like to know if anyone has experience with this instrument, and how they like it.
