So I am a piano student and I have composed a song and I want it to have an acid jazz vibe, the chords of my verses are Gmaj7, Dmaj7, Fmaj7 and Cmaj7. Can you guys tell me various chords that can follow up in the bridge that don't make harsh changes to sing? *In my normal bridge it changed to Gbmaj7, Abm7,Gbmaj7,Gmaj7 but I get out of tune chaging from verse to bridge.)

I appreciate you help guys!

Maybe add a D7#9 leading into the G maj?

Just an idea, although you don't really have any dominant chords in there, so maybe you'd like to keep that style.

The chords sound very interesting when played

Welcome to the Forums. Am I missing part of this thread? Is there an actual melody somewhere that goes along with the partial circle-of-fifths that you mention, or does this “song” consist solely of chords so far?

(What’s throwing me off is that Ben responded as if he actually understands what you are asking.) Maybe one needs to be into that acid jazz vibe about which I have heard so much?
