How about we post some easy pieces? Some of the ones people have posted are very good, but perhaps a little difficult to play for mediocre pianists like myself.
Here's an easy one I've written www.savefile.com/files/7664454
Sorry if it's a bit faint; I wrote it in pencil.
btw if anyone can come up with a better left hand I'd be grateful, mine's a bit static.

I write easy pieces occasionally. I think theyre much more fun to write. Here are some if you're interested

Maybe you could try making your left hand a bit more contrapuntal. When the right hand isnt doing much pass the moving quavers into the left hand.

I've written a relatively easy Invention - I'll try to post it in a new thread.

Those are ok Bruce. My soundcard's on the blink, though, so I could only listen to a bit at a time.

<a href="http://media.putfile.com/simple-22">Simon's piece</a>

Hey Simon--I took the liberty of writing a left handed piece and making your piece a 2 part invention [without altering the melody]. I hope you like it...

A lot of my early compositions were easy to play. THough, that was probably due to my lack of knowledge on a lot of compositional techniques!! smile

I haven't ever really intentionally written something easy, but I try not to write outside of what I could play comfortably, though, I must make exceptions in some cases.

oops! I meant to say that I'd written a bass part for Simon's piece, making it a 2 part invention...the melody you hear is a transcription of what he posted earlier, written in pencil--the left hand bass part is my own contribution...
