Happy easter, I hope you believe in the Easter bunny, because I DO!!. I do realize, however, that there are some misguided, unfortunate people who think the Easter bunny is just a childs fantasy charactor.

I feel sad for these non-believers; and don't even get me started on Santa Clause! smile

The Easter bunny is alive and well at my house, although a little worried about how he's going to ensure that my 6-year-old gets a basketful of eggs when challenged by my all-too-intent 10-year-old. I think we're going to have to zone off a section of the yard that will be off-limits to her but planted with plenty of obvious eggs for him.

Have you all learned any Easter songs to play on the piano...like "Here comes Peter Cottontail"...that might be at my level to learn (if there is an easy version available!)

When I reach the place I'm going, I will surely know my way.

"we celebrate both the holiday of Easter and Passover (which are inter-woven - one does not exist without the other)"

Uh oh, Coffee Room topic! The Exodus preceded Jesus by over 1,000 years, so there would be lot of people who would disagree that Passover is interwoven with Easter. But that discussion is for another time and place. wink

And to get back on-topic, happy [insert spring holiday here]!

Well, I *could* throw a different spin on all of it and say: Happy Ostara! (Tho that *has* passed) or Blessed Bealtaine (not quite here yet), but I will just add my best wishes for whatever Spring holiday you choose to celebrate! (Me- I'm just going for the birthdays. April is birthday month in my family! We have 9 in the month).

"Sorry, MarkB, I get too heavy - go light - got it!"

Just yanking your chain, Sharon. Carry on as you see fit!

Shoot, I was hoping the thread would give us a link to the music for "Easter Bonnet". Love that song! Probably "Peter Cottontail" is more my speed, though.

And yes, happy egg-salad sandwich week to everybody! Liz
