The space between the sharps is not consistent.
Just below middle C the space between Bb and Ab is more narrow than other places.
There is a piece I play where it is a problem.
I noticed the Bb is slightly to the left.
there is more space to the right of it than to the left of it, with respect to the adjacent keys.
I will not consider even thinking about fixing this myself.
But I am curious what my tech will do to fix it.
Simple or complex?

Kenny: the keys in a piano are laterally adjustable by bending the steel pin inside the front of each key. These are hidden from view, but each key rides up and down on them as you play. There isn't much room for movement, but usually enough to correct the uneveness you describe. Your technician can do this easily.
