I saw this story on the front page of CNN.com , I think its an interesting idea. They want to bankrupt different organizations and banks (Especially in Saudi Arabia) for funding terrosim. I don't know if it will work, but I guess some lawyer thinks it might if he is trying! But is this going over the top? I don't think normal citizens should be involved in stoping banks and the like in other countries, I think more government action is needed if this were to really happen. We will see..

Normal citizens are the ones getting blown up by the terrorists.

If you want it done right, do it yourself!

You know, I really wish that the legal system funcionted like it does in England - the losing party pays all of the legal fees of the winning party. Maybe that would stop people from this sort of lawsuit abuse.

I am constantly amazed by people that think they can file lawsuits against foreign entities in the US court system as if it actually had jurisdiction over these foreign entities. The best that could be hoped for is that assets held in US banks could be attached pursuant to a court order. Watch this money disappear long before the suit is adjudicated. Otherwise, if they don't pay up what then. Call in the Marines?

The ultimate longshot. As I understand it, they are primarily seeking assets within the borders of the U.S.

All you'd have to do is liquidate those assets, and move them overseas, and they are out of reach.

Of course, when it absolutely, positively, has to be destroyed overnight, - call the Marines! cool
