My friend is having a party this weekend and the kids are going to sing two songs. One to the tune of 'its a small world' and the other to the tune of 'the wheels on the bus go round and round'.

I thought about playing the piano for them to sing along with. I've been looking everywhere for sheet music to them, but I can't seem to find any. Does anyone know where there's sheet music for those two songs I can print off?

Thanks,
-Ancient Upright

you can get a (simple) version of "it's a small world" here:

As to the other one I'd google it or just figure it out by ear.

Man! I googled all morning and couldn't find it! Also, I just don't have a very good ear for figuring out music. Thanks for the tip, though. I was just wondering if anyone had a tried and true website for free sheet music. I looked in my library and couldn't find any books that had either song, except the one that was checked out. mad

If you must use music here's a solution:
  • Download a free copy of "midi composer".
  • Find a midi file for the song you want.
  • Open it in the program, voila! instant sheet music.

I bet you can figure it out by ear though. Just sit down and use the C Major scale (all white keys). Sing it to yourself and try try each combination. First determine direction (does the melody go up or down) then figure out the exact note. Seriously, it would be a good exercise to try.

Thanks Pianocliff! laugh

That was a jiffy! I simplified both songs in an easy to read format in less than a half hour. (I need them to be simple, because I've got a limited amount of time to practice them.)

Dude, you helped me out a lot! Thanks! smile
