Yes, he is very good. That piano is perfect for the type of music, too. It has that "honky tonk" sort of sound.

This was very encouraging for me. Notice he plays entirely from memory, watches his left hand intently, and glances at his right only occasionally when he makes a jump. Those are all the things I'm "doing wrong" which prevent me from being a good reader.

Maybe there's hope after all!

I love it. The few stride songs I have taken on have pretty much forced me to memorize and stare at my left hand intently. This guy is very impressive. Saw in his comments somewhere that he is a by ear player.
