Hi everyone.

I have bought some notes of Mozart (easy songs wink ). And then in some of the songs is it a dot after the note, over the note, and under the note. What does this signs mean? confused

And before I play a song is it standing "andante" and "allegretto", what does that mean?

Thanks. wink

Wolfi, you need a book on first basics, and a piano teacher. Also a small pocket music dictionary for the terms. Short of that, you can enter the words at www.google.com (perhaps followed by the word definition) and find many definitions.

Dot after a note lengthens the note time by half again longer than normal.

Dot above or below a note is the same thing, it means staccato, or short separated notes.
