I have been cut off from the (piano) world for a week because my broadband modem broke down and AOL wasn't able to replace it (but didn't say so). All this endless time I couldn't read the posts here, and just about that time this thread came up. It is so funny because I had been thinking about inputting here, so here it goes (and I am happy to be connected again, had been missing you!):

You have a serious sheet music addiction if you need to change you ink cartridge every couple of days because you cannot resist the temptation to print out entire albums/opuses from composers mentioned here (e.g. Grieg - printed out some 40 pages or so).

You have a serious sheet music addiction if you buy a complete Henle edition although the figures in your bank account are in a deep red (e.g. ALL Chopin Nocturnes) AND you are not able to play even a single note out of it.

You have a serious sheet music addiction if your son's teacher gave your son some albums to chose a new piece and you run directly into the next copy shop to copy it entirely.

You have a serious sheet music addiction if you keep compiling score after score and don't even have a shelf for them (littered on piano, in these box holders on the floor).

Helplessly giggling...

Patty

When you try to organise your many many shelves and they collapse on top of you from the strain, leaving you trapped for days under mountains of sheet music. shocked
And eventually you are rescued by a persistant and heroic delivery man... delivering (you guessed it) sheet music! :p
