Some of you may remember this magazine. My dad has copies sitting around in his home, and in my teens I found some interesting things in them. Are there similar magazines which publish a small selections of songs each issue?

I've got an old one here from the 80's called "Introductory Issue - Sheet Music Magazine - Standard Piano/Guitar". I only have one issue, it's my grandmother's but she gave all her old piano material to me because she doesn't really play much. I haven't tried to play anything out of it yet, but it's got some things like Mona Lisa and Love Boat Theme etc. 10 pieces in total. It also has a few articles such as reader letters, song quizzes, quick lessons and tips etc.

Hope this was of some help to you, I don't know if the magazine is still in publication though. :p

I remember it well. I think I threw out my collection about two years ago. There was also a companion edition called "Sheetmusic" or something similar to that.

I also remember when a postage stamp went from 3 cents to 4 cents. What a hew and cry went up over that. And did you know that in cities, mail used to be delivered twice a day?

Okay, now I'm beginning to feel old.

This was a great magazine... or am I thinking of Keyboard Companion?

Well anyways, I remember the magazine to have a blotter paper type of cover, not your typical magazine cover. It had excellent articles and great music to play.

I this the magazine?
