Hi,

I did a quick search but didn't find any discussion about Piano teaching/music software. I'm a beginner just starting lessions. I'm going to be spending too much time on a plane over the next 4 weeks. frown

Is there any good software out there that would enable me to work on beats, keyboard familization drills, etc...

Thanks
Charles

Check out www.musicked.com site, its not fully ready yet, but due to Summer 2005, it is set to release music education software for music learning from beginning level to advanced level.
There are total of 60 lessons, from Getting Started to Onward Upward, designed to either concept specific, or in sequencial order for beginners to advanced learners.

Hope you will find what you are looking for.... smile

Hi,
Find a good private teacher and work with what they suggest while you are on the plane.

Sorry.. I have nothing to offer on your question. But I had to comment on your UID. I laughed out loud!

I'll bet there's a story in that.

We have a 7 year old who is extremely interested in learning to play piano. The teacher we would like for our child can't start lessons for another 6 or 7 weeks. In the meantime he just plays around with the piano in a completely unstructured way.

Would there be any age appropriate software or books which can get him started in the learning process while we wait for the teacher to become available?
