Hi everyone,

I'm a journalist who would like to talk to someone who has sold a piano school before. I'm interested in hearing about the experience, and basically how they went about it. If you have sold a piano school before, please feel free to email me at herman_wong@fortunemail.com.

Best,

Herman Wong

Stand back everybody, I'll take this one...

Someone who has sold... a piano school. What is... a piano school? Is that kinda like a beauty shop where one lady owns the chairs and all the other beauty shop ladies pay her rent?

Not trying to be a smartalec, Herman, but, gosh, who has ever even owned a piano school much less found someone fool enough to buy it? And if they did, there wouldn't be an email as a result worth sending to someone at "fortunemail.com" Maybe to poormail.com, or ilostmymindandboughtapianoschool.com

Good luck, but don't be surprised if all you get is...(sound of crickets).

I don't know if this is what Mr. Wong is thinking of, but there really is a piano school in my area that employs something like a dozen teachers of piano and voice. The teachers are paid a salary. They have their own headquarters, studios, and pianos. Maybe selling such a school (if the owner didn't want to run it anymore) would be like selling a medical practice: you sell to someone else your instruments, equipment, and roster of students.
