New to the site, and so glad I found it.
I have an adult student in the John W. Schaum Adult Series Bk. 1. She will be going away for at least 2 months and wants to know what she can work on while away. Of course, she can review what she's learned, do keyboard drills, etc. Do you have any other ideas? She has even mentioned that I could email her lessons, but I'm not sure how that will work. I am also using the Fingerpower series w/ her.

Welcome to the forum, JMFPiano!

I'm not familiar with these methods that you are using, but generally when I have students that will be away for an extended period of time, I will assign a series of pieces to learn. Since she is a beginner (judging from the fact she's in a method book), you will have to make some assumptions on how much she can accomplish based on how much time she'll have to practice. Then address any new concepts that will arise, and simply assign pieces in the book. She will have to gauge herself to see if she's ready to move onto the next piece or not. She can always email you with questions.
