What kind of duet(or four hands) book do you use?

I'm searching for an easy but good resource for some elementary students (Alfred level 1-2-3). Any recommandation will be appreciated.

The duets listed below range in level from 2-4. Hopefully these will give you some ideas. There are also some wonderful youth concertos for the easy levels too, but that's another thread!

Here's some great Duets for student/student

Piano for Two, books 1-5 - Carol Matz (pub. FJH)
Kaleidoscope Duets, books 1-4 - Jon George (pub Alfred)
Just for You and Me- Dennis Alexander (pub Alfred)
Two at One Piano, books 1-2, - Jon George (pub Summy Birchard)
Treasures for Two, books 1-2 - Martha Mier (pub Alfred)

Here's some fun Teacher/Student duets:

Twelve Classic Duets - Weekley & Arganbright (pub kjos)
Sparklers - Susan Ogilvy (pub Alfred)

You can't go wrong with Robert Vandall or Melody Bober duets. They are almost always wonderful! Robert Vandall is pub. by Myklas (which just got bought out by Alfred) and Melody Bober is pub. by FJH. Just spend some time at the music store looking at their music to see what's best for your students. Most of their duets are sold separately.

Andrew and Cranky Woman, thanks for your suggestions. Both my 7 year-old son and I are studying piano with the same teacher, and I'd love to play a duet piece with him at next recital. Any particular pieces are suitable for mother-son team? BTW, both of us are still in elementary level, about level 2.

The Piano for 2 books by Carol Matz are great. Try books 1 and 2. Both parts are comparable, and the pieces sound harder than they really are.

Robert Vandall's duets are great, too. Most of them are sold individually.

Try these:

Lazy Day Blues
The Hiking Song
Triple Dip - this is a trio
March Promenade - trio, again

Actually, the entire list in my previous post for student/student would work for you and your son.

I may go out to music stores tomorrow and look for those books mentioned above (even though they often don't have things if I am specifically looking for.)
