friday, january 11, 2008, 7 pm, barnes and noble lincoln center--"Grand Obsession: A Piano Odyssey"--reading and book signing. piano performance to follow.

saturday, january 12, 1:30-6:30 pm, piano row "pianothon" block party, west 58th st. between seventh avenue and broadway.

some of the events scheduled for the pianothon include: readings, book signing, technical demonstration by marc wienert, performance by michael harrison of his work "revelation", and more.

i will post here further details as they develop.

if you haven't yet had a chance to explore piano row in nyc, january 12th will be the perfect time.

the "pianothon" is a reprise of and expands on the very successful piano world "piano crawl" that we held in 2003, an event recounted in the book "grand obsession."

there will be plenty of opportunity to explore the riches of the four showrooms on the block: beethoven pianos, klavierhaus, bechstein, and faust harrison, in addition to the scheduled events.

i look forward to meeting you there.

(frank, can you make this event a sticky too? thanks! smile )
