Well I know its short notice but I thought I'd try to get together those in the Front Range area for a casual piano party. I'm looking at the afternoon of Aug 22nd (That is a Sunday isn't it?) We could just throw something on the grill. Let me know if your interested all are welcome. You can shoot me an email and I will get out logistics and directions to any that need it.

Well seeing as I've only heard from a few people on the original email sent out and no one has posted here I am going to assume that this date doesn't work well for most. (Yes I do know what happens when you assume whome )
So I want to postpone until September 18th in the afternoon. KB will be away on his honeymoon so we'll miss him but from the emails I did get I know September works better for some. So let's do a fall potluck and we probably will still be able to throw something on the grill. As always shoot me an email or post here with any questions and come on
Let's Have a Party

Hopefully this gives everyone more notice to get it on their calendar and I really won't make anyone play that doesn't want to laugh

Hi Cathy

It seems I missed your party by 2 days...I'm fairly new both to the piano forums and also to Colorado (I've been here exactly a year today). My husband and I are about to move from Westminster to Lafayette in a week or so, and we are always looking for more people to meet. We are both young (mid-20s) but surprisingly enough meeting anyone new is pretty hard!

Anyway, I hope your party was a success, and maybe I'll hear from you sometime in the future.

Hilary

Hilaryemma - It turned out to be a very small gathering but fun nonetheless. My husband and I are in the South metro area (Highlands Ranch) but my brother and sister-in-law are up your way (Westminster). Anyway feel free to email me (email's in my profile) and maybe we can hook up some time.
