Plans for a unique piano gathering on Old Cape Cod are currently underway. If you are interested in joining with other piano enthusiasts, please hold the date of October 21, Saturday, open on your event calendar.

A tour will be hosted by three separate families who reside in the quaint town of Orleans. Each family is within walking distance of one another. A Mason & Hamlin grand resides at each of the homes for our listening and playing pleasure.

The Cape Cod group of piano lovers takes great pleasure in welcoming guests into their homes and hopes you will join them in what should be a day of musical bliss.

Please watch this thread for additional info as plans continue to unfold.

How does the song go; … you’re sure to fall in love with Old Cape Cod!! (you bet!!)

Sounds like fun! I have it on my calendar and if I can keep things clear around that date, I would love to come!

The Cape in October should be great! thumb

That sounds wonderful. I'm going to make a real effort to get to this one, even though I have to be in Sturbridge the previous week for a seminar presentation. frown

Do we know anyone from the three families from PW?

Darn, I hate to have to miss this great weekend but I'll be in AZ for a Crossfire hookup that weekend. I couldn't be much farther away. Hope you all have a fine weekend. Hopefully I'll be here for the next one.

Looking forward to seeing some of the old faces...sorry...you know what I mean. As a matter of fact...you will be seeing some old faces. smile
KathyK....you may have met John Williams and Ed Bonacci at a M&H tour. Ed's sister Roberta Lang has been to the M&H tour twice and to LeeB's party. John Williams wife Helga was at the M&H tour this past May. Marilyn and Keith Harrison will be new faces to everyone. All three homes have Mason&Hamlin grands. Roberta has a new "A". John Williams has a older "BB" and the Harrisons have a older Aeolian "A". All are wonderful folks and great hosts. It's a beautiful area and the homes are within walking distance of each other.
A fun time for sure!
Will be adding more info....stay tuned!

KathyK thanks for pointing this out. Unfortunately, even though I'm closer, I won't be able to make Oct 21 as a friend from FL is coming up that weekend. Hope you all have a great time; it sounds very fun and I bet the area will be beautiful.
I'll have to eventually make my way up to the area; now that I'm on the "right" coast smile

Kathy, maybe we could work something out. If you want to drive down the night before, you are welcome to stay here....

Has Bernard chimed in? This would be a nice trip for him (and us to enjoy his playing! wink

Ding Dong! (I'm chiming in.)

Hm. Timing is about right. I'm planning a NE trip 'round 'bout the 3rd week of October so...

Kerri, I'll contact you soon.

Just checking back in here. Thanks for the added info Jeremy. Beelady, I may just take you up on that offer. I'll get back to you on that. One thing is certain - a trip to Zimmans is a must. I have a chair being held hostage by an upholsterer.

Bernard - I hope you can make it!
