Am cheering for the Czech Republic or Croatia.

But I think Brazil will win as Germany and Italy are not looking as strong as before. Would like England to do well also.

(can we edit the title of the post to read 'Football' World Cup? smile )

I'm still angry at Portugal going through against Holland, and again against England! That headbutt in the Holland game was pretty disgusting (done behind the referees back)

I think Ronaldo may be hearing the sound of boo's the next time he plays for Man Utd in England. The wink to his manager after Rooney got sent-off looked a little suspicious.

I do feel that Rooney should have been sent-off, but I really hoped England would have won the game. A lot of people criticised them, saying how poor they were. That's fair enough, but they played poor and still won games. If they had performed at a level with which they are capable of, who knows how much further they could have gone.

It started with the next match already, against France, whenever Ronaldo got the ball the began booing.

Wow Italy is world champion! Never thought that would happen, but I admit they are a good team. Maybe they didn't play very good in the final, but the matches before were excellent. I'm quite pleased with the result. I just wanted to see Spain instead of Portugal, I thought Spain played much better in the first stage.
It's a shame that Zidane had to be sent off in the last match for France of his carreer, and in the World Cup final! I don't understand why he did that heatbutt against the Italian.
