or something. I kept thinking it was indigestion. Then, last night, I thought it was a migraine. I woke up feeling fine this morning, but it's going downhill fast. help Anybody have any secret recipes that will make my stomach quit bothering me? I ate yogurt for breakfast. I thought that would help. It hasn't. I have WAY too much to do today, I don't have time to feel so barfy. Uhg

If you're not hungry don't eat. Drink lots of water.
Good luck.

I had something like that last week. Pepto Bismol tablets worked for me.

Hope you feel better, Jodi.

The Coffee Room withdrawals have started.

Hurry, you don't have much time.
Have your hubbie buy the strongest marine ropes he can find.
Have him bind your limbs tightly, and secure you to the bed.
Go to the drug store and secure one of those rubber dental things so you don't chew your teeth up when the convulsions and hallucinations start.
Get your feeding tube ready.

And try to not worry.
Studies have indicated CRWS, Coffee Room Withdrawal Syndrome last only 6 to 8 months.

Had that about two weeks ago. Apparently a virus going around. Several people in my family had it also as well as a number of others we know. Started with headaches, which I very rarely get (except from the PW CR wink ).

Antacids didn't seem to help me much. It seemed to pass in a few days but it tends to linger a bit just near the surface. So don't be too concerned if it seems to return.

The good news is it doesn't seem to be affected by what I eat. In fact, I tend to feel better after I eat thumb and worse on an empty stomach. I guess the food helps absorb the excess acids being produced by the virus.

Jodi,

Don't milk products aggravate an acidic stomach condition? (I recall the old myth about treating ulcers by drinking milk.)

If antacids don't help, maybe ginger might. Or coke syrup?

Peppermint usually helps with upset stomach. Try some hard candies.

I just ate a piece of my neighbors home baked bread (which he made me yesterday). Butter and jam. I actually feel a bit better. Not sure how long it will last. Thanks for all the suggestions, though.

Eeew, good luck and ride it out. I find highly diluted juice works well... like cranberry or apple, not anything acidic like OJ. Best idea: crawl into bed or onto your couch with the TV remote and a good book, and read, watch and snooze. Repeat as necessary for the next 24 hours.

don't feel bad, b/c my 11-month-old nephew had it a few weeks ago, and it really stressed me out, even though i didn't have to deal with it. i'm starting to think that it's going around too, since he got it from my older sister's friend's twin girls that aren't that much younger than he is. he became dehydrated, b/c at first he was vomiting, and then it turned into diarrhea that lasted for a few days. he had to go to the ER, b/c he had became dehydrated, b/c he could hold anything, his lips were starting to look discolored, was feverish, and he slept a little more often than usual. but luckily, no one else got it, including my 4-year-old neice, who's his big sister, i guess b/c she's had 2 bouts of in in one year b/f she was 2 years old.

but what kind of symptoms do you have? diarrhea? vomiting? stomach cramps? fever? lethargy?

if you have nausea, i'ma tell you what i do during that time of the month when i feel nauseaous and pukey, i just take ginger, b/c it helps more than the OTC drugs ever did.
