She's definooootly NOT my wife. She (and a couple of her friends,) are part of the furniture in the house I'm borrowing in the Keys. The piano's my kids pratice piano. There is no vacation from Hanon!

Unless this is all some sort of fantasy, I would most definitely be appalled by your lack of prudence in exposing children to such lewdness. (And, frankly, I don't give a rat's @$$ what kind of excuse you could offer for such behavior.) And to think you would have the audacity to proffer your advice on raising children here!

And, just as a side note, as someone who has actually spent the month of August in the Keys on several occasions, I can think of few places I would less like to be. The whole chain of islands is like the steaming, sweaty armpit of Florida in August. :b:

What's lewd?--they're all girls, and we're all pretty nice people, (except for me, of course.) The climate is just fine 86, sonny and breezy. And the best part of the Keys now--there's nobody here.

Actually, some of the girls (fully clothed) join my family when we say our evening prayers.

Then let's put the situation in a slightly different perspective. Would you, as a father, approve of your own now 22-year-old daughters cavorting topless with an older married man and his children? Think about that for a while and get back to me.

Easy. No. But, those 22 year olds aren't my kids--so it really isn't my concern what they do.

You have given tacit approval for this behavior, and the fact that they are not your children is irrelevant, to say nothing of the impression that you are doubtless giving your daughters that you approve of it. The fact that you find it (pardon the pun) titillating does not give you moral permission to give this behavior a pass. If you had any moral objection to this behavior, which you appear to only have if it were your daughters, you would request that they cease such behavior. Your excuse is just a cop-out for a cheap thrill.

I really, and I mean REALLY don't care what people do. I live in an environment that I created for myself and my family. If I approve of, or at least tolerate something and it entertains me, I might let it in to my world, if not, I simply exclude it. In this case I tolerate the young ladies because I find them amusing. If I cease to be amused (and honestly, there's not much chance of that)--I will kick them out.

Just wait until your daughters start using that line. I'm sure you'll enjoy the flipness as much as I enjoy yours. You set the example, they are pretty likely to follow. Good luck!

You're right--a better way to put it is that we "K" 's do what we do. I'm certainly not the boss around my house. We operate in a corporate manner.

We're strict Catholics so alas, the convent awaits them! Both my daughters have aleady decided that they will happily spend their lives praying for the salvation of their father's soul.
