Hi everyone,

I am from Singapore and am learning piano from a private teacher. I have practising on my Yamaha digital/electric piano at home.

I am getting married and my future mother-in-law wants to buy a new upright piano for me, as my wedding gift.. smile

We are sourcing around. I like the touch of European pianos but the price is rather high.. We found Gramercy Music that sells Wilhem Tell. But I just realised that they are made in China..

Have been to Plaza Sing Yamaha and played on the YM 5. According to the salesman, YM 5 is made in Japan and specially brought in to Singapore. It is almost similar to the U1, except that the internal specifications might not be as superior.

Anyone out there owns or bought YM 5? Hope that you can share your thoughts... Thanks!
