Here is a graph regarding how I have perceived the evolution of those "big" one-day threads gaining 4+ pages, as they occur in the CR.

(It was done in MS paint, so dont hate on the graphics! smile )

What would you add?

The natural evolution of CR threads! Hmm, Darwin IS everywhere...

(Would that be classified as a general comment or a post that sets off the wildfire of comments?)

Some can tell you to go to heck in such a manner that you would think you might actually enjoy the trip, but that is far more polite than civil - JBryan

Ermm... open-ended questions (questions that aren't merely answered by a yes or no)

An impressive graph, The 89th Key thumb

We will soon see! laugh

I think it's a two-way street actually. There has to be someone (you) that posts the spark, and there has to be someone (me) who fans the flames into the dry brush.

What is this? Do I feel a small breeze coming???

Didn't Darwin completely admit that he was wrong and they he believes in the creation theory on his death bed? Or is that just a myth for us bible-thumpers?

But you didn't mention that in these "big" threads the first post is very rarely answered at all!

And I think that you should replace "someone adds the post that sets off the wildfire of comments" with the word "gay". wink

...and if I did that sarah, instead of 'insults and retaliatory remarks', I would have to put "The 89th Key enters". wink

89th Key,

That was a very good graph. thumb Maybe like the joke with fortune cookies - every thread title has the words "in bed" added to the end of it. smile

Well 89th, when you first came on and challenged the world, I told you to hang on and show your stuff. Looks like I was right. You have provided much amusement and a few acid stomachs.

Tally Ho!!!
laugh wink :p

DON'T try to tell NAK he doesn't have a bad side. He is free to have any side he wants.
