A strange craft appears on the horizon....

...touches down in pianoworld.com.... (mechanical clunking sounds)

... door opens... (hydraulic whoosing sounds, light spills out)

...A foot steps down...

Bob from pianoforum steps out...

"Greeting Piano World members! I come in peace."

Hello! I'm from pianoforum.net. I actually registered on here a long time ago, at the same time I registered on pianoforum.net. I've been posting over there for some time. Recently, some pianoworld "refugees" came over, so I thought I'd check out where they came from.

(extends hand of friendship on behalf of Piano Forum)

Nice to meet ya!

Oh this is freaky.... I'm going back now...

(returns to home forum) lol....

Hiya, Bob! Stick around awhile. It's not nearly different over here as you might have been lead to believe. Well, except here, it's daytime. You guys post in the dark. Kind of like we're the Mario above ground, and you guys are the dragon underworld. I keep waiting for those fireballs. laugh (If you aren't old enough to have played the first Nintendo game ever, you won't know what the heck I'm talking about.)

Ok, does anyone else find this whole thing sort of amusing? I mean really? I do. (well, when I'm not ticked off at Mr. K, I do - he really needs to make better use of the "just joshing you" smileys)

I do know the Nintendo. It is funny. I recognize a few faces from the people who crossed over.

It's like a bizarro piano world. lol... very amusing.

My dearest Jodi, you're not losing your mind, you're just drifting a little too far from the force. Come back when you're ready, we'll be waiting.

My dearest Yodi, your training is nearly complete. You have made great progress in your journey from the dark side back to the light side. Keep it up, Yodi.

May the force be with you

Notifications are when the site sends you an email when someone posts something (a reply or even a new topic) at least that's what the pf does.

I found Yahoo Instant Messenger can alert me when I get a new email. So, while I'm online and someone posts, I get a YIM alert (althought it can be a little annoying sometimes). It makes the forum'ing experience a little more interesting and quicker.

You guys reply so fast over here. I'm getting jet lag or something.
