With the upcoming and very unfortunate demise frown of the CR can we expect some revelations about just which puppets belong to which member? I am sure I won't be the only one left wondering. Time to fess up!

Never had a sock puppet. I've sure enjoyed a few that have come down the pike though.

Carmen can't play88keys like I can!

[Linked Image]

They call me Cuban Pete. I'm the king of the rumba beat.
When I play the maracas I go chick-chicky-boom, chick-chicky boom
Yessir, I'm Cuban Pete. I'm the craze of my native street.
When I start to dance, everything goes chick-chicky-boom, chick-chicky boom
The senoritas they sing and they swing with terampero-
It's very nice, so full of spice.
And when they dance in they bring a happy ring that era keros-
Singin' a song, all the day long.
So if you like the beat, take a lesson from Cuban Pete
And I'll teach you to chick-chicky-boom, chick-chicky-boom.

Carmen sez:

He's really a modest guy, although he's the hottest guy
In Havana, in havana.

Si, sinorita I know that you would like to chicky-boom-chick
It's very nice, so full of spice.
I'll place my hand on your hip, and if you will just give me your hand
Then we shall try - just you and I. I-yi-yi!
So if you like the beat, take a lesson from Cuban Pete
And I'll teach you chick-chicky-boom, chick-chicky-boom, chick-chicky-boom

Shake Your Booty, Daddy, Wow!
See ya!

Chickaboom, chickaboom, chickaboom boom boom!

Renauda--Pleasure to know you.

We disagreed on some, agreed on much more, Your posts were always interesting. But most importantly, I have always thought you'd be a guy to sit back and have a couple of beers and play some FREAKIN' GUITAR with.

Well, since it looks like this catastrophe is truly unfolding, I'm here to spill the proverbial beans while crying in my pint o' brew. Tomk, cad that he is, guessed correctly that minime inhabited kathyk. I guess she needed a puppet to show her nice side, eh?

Well, so am I! Fooled ya! laugh

Any more revelations?

All that clever work to craft the perfect sockie. Chuckling to yourself as you posted incognito with the perfect comeback. Nervously clicking the refresh button while waiting for someone, anyone to acknowledge your cleverness.

Come forth now and take your bows, or miss the chance forever. whome

Someone named RiderChick formed one day, but she just couldn't speak for me, so I let her *ride*

She's gotta ticket to ride! She's gotta ticket to ride! She's gotta a ticket to ride, and I don't care! (horses that is - not motorcycles)

I *do* owe you that story, don't I? I was backstage taking pics for the promoter of the DP concert. At one point Blackmore rushed into the green room asking if anyone had pantyhose or tights he could borrow. I was wearing a pair of burgundy tights. I gave them to him...he, in typical RB fashion, sniffed them first, made a lewd comment, put them on and pranced out on stage. The crowd went into an uproar over that.

He actually gave them back to me when he was finished. I never wore them again. wink

Jon-nyc - you bad one! If you really are Chris - which I don't think you are (I'm gullible though) then Chris moved to a new house and got rid of his beloved AF for a Bosie!

He's kind of got addicted and then quit cold turkey. His business is up and he's getting married in July. Also, he's going to Germany to see the new Pope on World Youth day. So he's got a lot on his plate.

He's a great guy.

I'm a Manhattan transplant, though. And you're from the ***-end of long island. I'm afraid I'm much better looking that you are.

JB, I know that mate. I was alluding to Tom's previous post.

P.S. I'll miss you btw. You're an independant thinker who never seems obliged to follow the party line. I like that.
P.P.S. That photo was something else aswell.......... wink

You mean the photo I posted over at jgoo's crib?

Yeah, "something else" would be charitable.

Man, the sock puppet revelations are a silver lining to the whole CR closure... maybe a silver sliver, but silver nonetheless...

This was my one sock-puppet. It fulfilled a mission of mine to skewer certain narcissists in the Piano Forum. I later played an even dirtier deed behind the scenes to undermine a certain piano dealer who I happen to know is full of carp.

My most satisfying achievement on PW.
